IIDA New England: Sustainability Series - Closing the Transparency Loop
Chapter Ever
Designers and Architects Talk Series arrow

Closing the Transparency Loop (CTL) is a movement that grew out of a series of letters exchanged between the Architectural and Design (A&D) community and major building product manufacturers. CTL’s mission is to transform the built environment by leveraging the business case to grow the sustainability movement throughout the built environment value chain.

We’ll hear from leaders from both the built environment on how closing the transparency loop can inspire extreme market transformation and impact. Panelists will explain the rating systems prioritizing healthy materials, participants will hear action that you can take now, across all of your projects to support healthy materials and space as the norm, not the option.

Moderated by:

  • Alison Buckley, WELL AP, Associate IIDA, Interior Designer at Margulies Perruzzi

Panelists:

  • Annie Bevan, Global Head of Sustainability, Superior Essex
  • Steven Burke, Director of Sustainability, Consigli
  • Tim Conway, Vice President of Sustainability, Shaw Industries
  • Heather Henriksen, Chief Sustainability Officer, Harvard University
