IIDA’s conversation series, Collective D(esign) was born in 2020 as a way for the design community to stay connected and inspired as the COVID-19 pandemic changed the way we work, live, and design. The 2021 series continued with dialogues focused on a changing world—return to work, work/life balance shifts, the importance of nurturing education pipelines while planning for a more diverse design industry, and designing spaces to consider the multicultural end-users.
In each episode, IIDA Executive Vice President and CEO, Cheryl S. Durst, Hon. FIIDA was joined by a slate of panelists including designers, educators, and experts working across architecture, design, non-profits, and academia. Each episode is approved for and eligible for 1 IDCEC CEU credit, visit the academy page for more details on these and other CEU opportunities.
