Student Membership

IIDA Student membership is designed for the interior design or architecture student interested in professional development opportunities and expanding their professional network within the design industry.

Qualifications

If you are currently enrolled in an interior design, architecture, or closely related program at any university, institute of higher education, or accredited school of interior design, you qualify as an IIDA Student Member! Your application must include proof of enrollment which can be one of the following:

Copy of your current class schedule generated by your school that includes both your name as well as your school’s and including your name
Photocopy of your current school ID
Copy of your student transcript that demonstrates your current semester enrollment

You’ll also have the ability to participate in design competitions, scholarship opportunities, leadership opportunities on campus and with the local chapter, and awards; and have access to publications and research that offer industry thought-leadership, innovative design, and news and events. Student Mentoring Program

Every year, IIDA pairs more than 500 students across the U.S. with mentors that work in the interior design industry, taking students out of the classroom and into the real world of interior design. Learn more

IIDA Campus Centers

Form or join an IIDA Campus Center to connect with other students, educators, and your local IIDA chapter while gaining valuable leadership opportunities and professional connections. Learn more

Member Dues

All IIDA memberships run on the calendar year, January through December.

Annual Student Dues: $60

We offer a special rate exclusively to graduating IIDA Student members who wish to upgrade to an Associate membership. Reach out to memberservices@iida.org for details
