With a global reach IIDA works to support design professionals, industry affiliates, educators, students, firms, and their clients through our network of 15,000+ members across 58 countries. Programming and premiere events are a core component of the association’s commitment to facilitating, celebrating, and growing our global community of design industry members. Through these programs and events, we work to provide platforms for creating change and tackling important issues related to equity, justice, sustainability and climate change. We know that design and its broader community are key for forward movement, and that design is by its very nature future facing and optimistic.

Collective Design

Collective Design is a webinar series from IIDA that provides resources, information, and inspiration to the design community. Design Your World

Launched in 2021, Design Your World is an education pipeline program driven by the core goal to build diversity and equity within the design industry through providing hands-on-design learning for high school students through a 6-week program. Learn more

Tarkett + IIDA P.A.T.H.

Inspired by our shared beliefs that every student with a passion for interior design or architecture, regardless of their background, should have access to opportunities that enable them to thrive and shape the future of our industry. The initiative will provide one HBCU (Historically Black Colleges and Universities) with free membership through the end of 2025 for up to ten students, and one educator/faculty member in order to establish their IIDA Campus Center. Our Student Mentoring Program leads the way in providing experience, resources, and opportunities for an inspiring emerging design community. Annually we pair more than 500 students with design professionals to build knowledge and relationships. Learn more
