J.C. ARCHITECTURE NAMED BEST OF COMPETITION WINNER OF IIDA 9th ANNUAL GLOBAL EXCELLENCE AWARDS

CHICAGO, IL — IIDA, in collaboration with Designworks, A BMW Group Company, is pleased to award the Best of Competition winner for the 2019 IIDA Global Excellence Awards to the Taipei, Taiwan-based firm, J.C. Architecture, for their project Logistic Republic Automation Warehouse: Between Machine, Between Human.

The firm was chosen from 23 winners in 15 categories with submissions from 35 countries. In addition to being named Best of Competition winner, J.C. Architecture also won for Logistic Republic Automation Warehouse in the category of Corporate Small Space.

“We were impressed by J.C. Architecture’s ability to embody the cultural identity of the company through the design of its space,” said IIDA Executive Vice President and CEO Cheryl S. Durst, Hon. FIIDA. “The experience of the workplace was elevated with clever detailing and a seamless integration of the office with the warehouse.”

The Global Excellence Awards honors and celebrates outstanding originality and excellence in the creation of international interior design and interior architecture projects. Award recipients were celebrated at a special ceremony in Paris at Le Brand Store BMW George V on Friday, January 19, 2019.
