IIDA ANNOUNCES THE WINNERS OF THE 9TH ANNUAL GLOBAL EXCELLENCE AWARDS

CHICAGO, IL – IIDA, in collaboration with Designworks, a BMW Group Company, is proud to announce the winners of the 2018 Global Excellence Awards. These awards honor outstanding originality and excellence in the creation of international interior design/interior architecture projects.

“These awards illustrate, celebrate, and reinforce the fact that great design can be found in every corner of the globe,” said IIDA Executive Vice President and CEO Cheryl S. Durst, Hon. FIIDA. “This year’s winning projects demonstrate the impact of international design in the lives of each of us—office workers, university students, restaurant patrons, hospital patients, and beyond.”

Projects were reviewed by a panel of design professionals, including Denise Cherry, industry leader from San Francisco; Johannes Lampela, director of design, Designworks LA, a BMW Group Company; and Joe Lawton, principal, media objectives, VDT.

“The winners of the 2018 Global Excellence Awards demonstrate expert finesse and innovative execution, and stand as a true testament to the sheer volume of talented designers across the world,” Lampela said on behalf of the jury.
