CHICAGO
— IIDA announced today the winners of two widely-respected design competitions: the 49th Annual Interior Design Competition, celebrating innovation and creativity in the industry, as well as the 30th Annual Will Ching Design Competition, which honors the work of commercial design firms with five or fewer employers.

“This year’s competition winners showcased advanced vision for the industry,” said IIDA Executive Vice President and CEO Cheryl S. Durst, Hon. FIIDA. “With an eye towards the future, each winning project personifies the potential to be found in thoughtful, meaningful design.”

The winners of the two award competitions were selected by Shimoda Design Group Partner Susan Chang, IIDA, AIA; Interactive Design Architects President Dina Griffin, IIDA, FAIA, NOMA; and Studio Munge Founder and Design Director Alessandro Munge, IIDA.
