IIDA Announces Finalists of Two Prestigious Design Competitions

Press Room

CHICAGO —The International Interior Design Association (IIDA) is pleased to announce and honor the finalists of the 52nd annual Interior Design Competition and the 33rd annual Will Ching Design Competition. The Interior Design Competition honors creativity and innovation within the industry, while the Will Ching Design Competition highlights outstanding commercial design from firms with ten employees or fewer.

“The Interior Design and Will Ching Design competitions honor the ingenuity and vision shaping today’s built environment,” said IIDA Executive Vice President and CEO Cheryl S. Durst, Hon. FIIDA. "Being named a finalist reflects a high level of design excellence and a commitment to pushing the boundaries of the profession, an achievement all recognized firms should take great pride in.”

Finalists were chosen by a jury including the following distinguished design experts: Former Global Director of Architecture and Interior Design at Airbnb, Mari Balestrazzi; CEO and Chief Creative Officer of RAPT, David Galullo; and Founder and Design Lead at Archiflux, Patricia Rotondo, IIDA.

“These projects demonstrate a compelling balance of creativity and precision,” said Rotondo on behalf of the jury. “Each finalist approached their challenge with fresh perspective, crafting spaces that elevate both function and experience.”
