Supporting IIDA members with certification exam fee reimbursement for those interested in sustainable design strategies through LEED certifications.
Eligibility
Current IIDA Associate, Professional, or Student members in good standing whom have completed and passed the LEED Green Associate or LEED AP exam in the specified exam period may apply. Applicants must have personally paid the full exam amount to be eligible.

Pricing
There is no fee to apply for the LEED Design Education Fund.
Guidelines
Submission Requirements
Applicants must submit the following items:
- Certification demonstrating they've taken and passed the LEED Green Associate or LEED AP exam between July 1, 2025 and June 30, 2026
- Proof of self-payment for part or all of their exam fees
- You can apply for this award up to two (2) cycles if you meet the eligible exam period and were not previously selected as an awardee.
Selection Process
Awardees are determined by a lottery system, and will be selected and notified by December 31, 2026.
Award
The IIDA Foundation will award exam fee reimbursement of up to $350 for up to five (5) IIDA Associate, Professional, or Student members.
