Each year, IIDA recognizes a group of members for their exceptional contributions to the interior design industry and community, and who demonstrate outstanding professional achievements, impact, and contributions to the interior design profession and industry. These members are mentors, educators, and leaders, and are bestowed the highest honor that IIDA awards, the honor of being named to the IIDA College of Fellows.

Our 2021 College of Fellows is IIDA’s first-ever group of all women. Through a three-part series of one-on-one conversations with these remarkable women we share their important work and achievements as they discuss design, life, leadership and beyond.

For the first in our series, join IIDA Executive Vice President and CEO, Cheryl S. Durst, Hon. FIIDA as she sits down with inductees Ronnie Belizaire, FIIDA, Corporate Real Estate Manager, Daimler AG, Angie Lee, FIIDA, FXCollaborative, Partner and Design Director Interiors, and Mavis Wiggins, FIIDA, Managing Executive and Studio Creative Director, TPG Architecture.

Ronnie Belizaire, FIIDA

Ronnie’s impressive career, and continuous service to IIDA contributed to her selection to become an IIDA Fellow. Her extensive and impressive project portfolio exceeds all expectations and places her at the forefront of corporate real estate and workplace design. Ronnie is currently serving as President elect elect on the IIDA International Board, and has used her position to advocate for justice and equality, and to also lead impactful and important discussions to drive the industry forward.

Angie Lee, FIIDA

Angie was chosen as a fellow because of her amazing and inspiring personal story and impressive and inspiring career. Angie’s candidate statement was extremely empowering and her publications, and recognition are top tier. Angie’s service on the IIDA International board has been astonishing and visionary.

Mavis Wiggins, FIIDA

Mavis was chosen as a fellow due to her impressive career and contributions to the interior design industry. An influential thought leader and trailblazer, she takes pride in engaging in the on-going dialogue about race representation in the industry. She has developed a large and multifaceted workplace portfolio with an emphasis in financial services within her tenure as Managing Executive / Studio Creative Director of TPG Architecture. Mavis has been acknowledged as Interior Design’s 2020 “Best of Year” Interior Designer in the category of Corporate Design, and was also the Honoree at the IIDA Leaders Breakfast 2018, IIDA New York Chapter.
