How do I log into the new member portal?

Your login ID is now your email address. If you have a new email address please email us at memberservices@iida.org to update your information. After we update your email address, we will send a reset password email to you, so that you can login under your updated email address.

Why did my member number change?

While migrating membership data to our new platform, all members received a new member ID number. Please note that the number that you know, and love is still on your account. It is reflected as your “legacy ID number.” Feel free to use this number while communicating with us, however please note that you may see your new number on your membership account, in chapter reports, invoices, etc.

Did membership dues increase?

Yes. IIDA membership has increased 2% for all member types except for students. This increase is directly correlated to the consumer price index for 2023-2024.

What are my payment options?

If you pay monthly, there is an additional fee per month. Please click your membership type here to view a breakdown of these payment options per member type.

  • Renew online by signing in to your account via the link in the upper right corner of any IIDA.org webpage. After signing in, select "Membership" then "Renew." Choose "Monthly Plan" to pay dues in easy installments.
  • Print and mail your invoice with payment. Send to:

  • Call toll-free at 888.799.IIDA or 312.467.1950 to renew by phone.
How do I update my credit card information for monthly payments (formally known as EZ pay)?

Login to your account at IIDA.org, select the “Payment Methods” tab, and ‘add new credit card.’ Please email memberservices@iida.org so we can update your billing accordingly.

How do I obtain my membership card?

Log into your account at www.iida.org and select “Print Membership Card”

How do I update our industry member roster?

Please send an email to memberservices@iida.org with a list indicating the name, email address and phone number of each person your are updating. Please note, as of October 2020, the process to add an additional rep to rosters has changed. Each rep previously known as an "extra rep" will no longer be included within your renewal notice. You may still add reps by upgrading to the next membership level, which includes all the benefits associated with that level. Please contact memberservices@iida.org for assistance customizing your membership.

How do I upgrade my membership to a new level?

Please submit an application for that member type here or email us at memberservices@iida.org. If you have already submitted a payment to renew, please contact us at memberservices@iida.org to submit payment for the price difference.

Can I come to an IIDA location to make a payment?

Due to COVID-19 our offices will remain closed for your safety and the safety of our staff. You have the option of paying online at IIDA.org under “My Account.” We encourage you to use our credit card feature online. You can also pay by phone with a credit card by contacting us at 312.467.1950.

Can I pay by check?

Why should I contribute to IIDA advocacy efforts?

Advocacy contributions which provide additional funds to support education and advocacy on local government and regulatory issues. IIDA advocates for the advancement in design excellence, legislation, leadership, accreditation, and community outreach to increase the value and understanding of interior design. We are strong advocates for the registration, and/or certification of practicing interior designers who work in a code-impacted environment.

Are IIDA membership dues tax-deductible?

Membership dues are individual, non-transferable, non-refundable, and based on the calendar year. Membership dues are not deductible as charitable expenses for federal tax purposes, but may be deductible as a business expense. The Association estimates that 10% of your membership dues payment is allocated to lobbying activities as defined in the Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1993, and is not deductible for federal tax purposes. The IIDA FEIN tax number is 43-1657122. Please always consult with your tax advisor when filing taxes to ensure accuracy in deductions.
