The IIDA Impact Stipend continues the Impact Stipend program established by the Foundation Trustees in 2020 to recognize and support IIDA members who have pursued a new educational goal, supported their design community through mentoring or offering resources, or used their expertise to volunteer in their community.

The program awards up to five recipients a $1,000 stipend and an IIDA Membership at no cost.

Eligibility
IIDA Professional, Associate, and Industry members that have established or acted upon new goals for professional development including but not limited to:

• Pursued professional development or an education goal through coursework, training, or certification. This includes coursework in subjects such as project, practice, or business management, sustainability, software skills or programs, or other subjects pertinent to design professionals.
• Actively connected with or mentored peers in their professional community and/or IIDA chapter to assist and “pay it forward” with knowledge, resources, and development to weather challenges faced in 2022.
• Volunteered in their community—for example, applying design knowledge and expertise to a local cause.
