Awards

The IIDA ICON Award recognizes extraordinary service and/or contributions by a person or an organization to the profession of interior design, the industry, or IIDA. The award celebrates and illustrates how the recipient’s dedication and life’s work elevates the industry, how that work creates new opportunities for professionals today, as well as how that work impacts the health and wellness of societies that we serve. This award is presented and celebrated in-person at the IIDA Annual Meeting.

    • Lauren Rottet is honored as an industry icon as highly accomplished architect, interior designer, furniture designer, and art curator. She is the Founding Principal and President of Rottet Studio, an international architecture and interior design firm, and is the only woman in history to be elevated to Fellow status by both the International Interior Design Association and the American Institute of Architects. Rottet Studio is consistently ranked among the most globally venerated design firms by a jury of design professionals. Among her colleagues and peers, Rottet is known as an innovator and teacher, devoting significant time to the advancement of the profession of design and architecture.
