The IIDA Educator Membership is designed for educators and facilitators of interior design education. Educators enhance the careers of future generations of designers, and are essential members of the design community.
IIDA memberships run on the calendar year, January through December. All new members and members reactivating their memberships will have a one-time $75 application fee added to their dues.

You qualify for the IIDA Educator Membership if you are a full-time instructor, department chair, or adjunct professor for a post-secondary program of interior design and meet the qualifications of any IIDA Professional Membership. Educators from any university or accredited school of interior design are invited to join. Your application must include a detailed job description, and a letter verifying employment from your Department Chair.
In addition to our member benefits, IIDA Educator Members have access to special events, research, and other educational materials to enhance your student’s education. U.S.-based IIDA Professional Educator members are eligible for complimentary print and digital publications that cover technical and theoretical topics in design, as well as community news and events.
